DON'T BE ANXIOUS, TRUST HIM!

This morning, I saw a mama bird and her babies all lined up on the fence. I was being blessed to witness their very first flying lesson. It was so sweet to see these tiny baby birds all flitting around, with their tiny little wings flapping so wildly with out-of-control jerky movements. The chirping amongst themselves was quite adorable. I very quietly remained still enjoying immensely the show they were putting on for me. One of the babies landed on the deck rather close to me. I very quietly said hello, and they looked right at me and gave me a sweet little cheep. It filled my heart with glee, what an unexpected gift! Very soon after the mama bird came swooping down trying to encourage that little baby to follow her back up on the fence. At first, she just cheeped and cheeped, and then with her little wings a flapping wildly she finally made it all the way to the top of the fence and sat in a line with her siblings. Then as quickly as they had come, they were gone, all back safely up into the tree, back into the safety of their nest perhaps? They were so very precious and I was just delighted to have gotten to see them, and then actually get to “talk” to one of them.
Yes, this made my heart sing for joy to the living God. What priceless gifts You share with us each day. No matter what we are currently going through, Jesus is with us. We can always trust Him, ALWAYS! We need not fear or be anxious. His love is guaranteed and His love is forever. My Jesus, You hear our prayers. You are our shield. May our trust always be in You! He cares for and feeds these sweet little birds, and cares for all of His children. Our value to Him is immeasurable!
