We've all heard thousands of stories where boy meets girl right? Well this is the story of boy doesn't meet girl. The film follows two young adults named Dillon and Emily, and is the story of both of them spending the entire film apart crossing paths but never meeting, while growing and maturing into the people they need to become. It’s a will they won’t they love story, only in this case it’s will they, won’t they actually meet each other.
The film explores the many various struggles that single young adults experience trying to fit into the church culture. This is what all single christian young adults have to put up with.
The loneliness, the isolation, the constant pressure from your family and friends to get married. Getting dismissed by church leaders because you’re not married so clearly something is very wrong with you.

Throughout the film both Dillon and Emily almost give into that pressure, all the while continuing to cross paths, but they can’t see each other. Because they are pressured into focusing on what the world, and what the church says they are supposed to have, rather than what God has planned for them, which is way better!! This is a story about overcoming the pressures and the lies, and doing the incredibly hard work of healing from these wounds so that they become the people who are ready to love and in the end, trusting in God's perfect timing.
