MOTIVES OF THE HEART

The motives of the heart. The motives of our hearts, the motives of my heart. The enemy is so sneaky and he lurks around and is absolutely everywhere. He gets in our minds and tries to steal our hearts. As I start thinking on the things which I have done, things I do now and things which I plan to do, I have the extra burden of testing and trying the motives of my own heart. There are times when I am so surprised by the reason behind my doing something- sometimes good sometimes well, bad.

I can rest assured though that no matter what, I can test myself, looking through my Daddy’s lens and will be fully assured that He will show me things I need to see and all will be very clear. The enemy will never put anything past Him, ever!

When He weighs my spirit, determining the intentions of my heart, all secrets laid bare, all is exposed to Him whom we will give account one day. May He find my motives pure and full of my love for Him, and my heart filled with His glory and thankfulness.
